Thread: Carbines on Starsider

I've been looking for a decent weapons Vendor that carries high-end Carbines on the Starsider server for days now. I've check four planets, and about 30 vendors. All of the carbines (even if I find them) are around average. Anyone have a certain vendor they go to on the Starsider server that carries decent Carbines?

The standard stocked Carbines on Starsider are the same on any other server.. it's just the maximum you can go without special enhanced components.
That said, unfortunately, there aren't "high-end" carbine vendors on Starsider. You need to get them specially crafted with Krayt Tissues, because there's such low demand for them. Check out this thread for details on acquiring the possible enhancements for carbines.
Essentially, you need to collect these loot items and contact a weaponsmith for a custom job, and then pray for a good slice. Or, you could buy a whole bunch of "average" weapons and get them sliced and keep the best ones, which can often turn out to be better than loot-enhanced weapons.
There are actually very few "high end" weapon shops in general on Starsider. 3 of the top weaponsmiths stop their businesses and a few are picking up where they left off, but there isn't a specific shop with high-end weaponry that I know of.

give me 1 month (and all the resources i need to make carbines) and i'm gunna start producing higher end carbines, just need to find affordable krayt tissues.

Aurorae is a weaponsmith alt of a BH/Carbineer. She's 12 point and has uber rescources, and knows what a carbineer wants. Buy carbines from her

There are a few names who consistently turn out weapons on the higher end of average like Nate'jay, Nyn, Jebredan Xoel, Dak'fre. i dont know if all of them are still in business though.
I've found IAV and Cherokaa's stuff is very nice and not as highly priced. Check the vendors in the Zlatworks shop south of Cnet, theres a lot of pre sliced weapons there.
