The only thing broken about them is the elemental damage is not working. This is true of all weapons with elemental damage, though. It was supposed to be fixed on TC, but they apparently haven't actually fixed it yet.

They rock, best weapon in game IMO, but..

DONT BUY ONE!

The quest to get them is so easy there's no point.

Save your money for an ADK to slap on the proton carb once you get it.

Depends on your template, but as master Carbs and MBH it's the highest DPS weapon I've tried so far.

They also look badass cool as well.

DPS isreally nothing unless you shoot every 1 sec (which I think is impossible post-CU) imo.


And a proton carbine can't even compete with good krayted elites and e11 mk2s.


Edit: Though I agree on the looks thing. The best looking weapon in the game imo.
