do you guys find these carbines? I'm having such a difficult time finding anything at all. I'm aware of the bugs right now and the fix that is coming in the next few weeks, but still after persuing this board, I am so baffled.

How does one find or get a laser carbine? I haven't even run across a decent DH17 yet and have never seen an E11. I'm about 30k away from specialist carbine in the marksman tree and using pistol too. I die constantly it seems. And my friend a pistoleer can out shoot out kill compared to me all the time.

I check bazaar as often as I can and never ever find anything. I don't know any weaponsmiths and until the fix is in, not much use in buying one anyways. Will I find something decent off the mobs? I don't know enough about faction and getting the merits where I think you can get some decent weapons.

Any little bit of info from you fellow carbineers will be appreciated. Almost thinking of giving up carbine and going pistol, but I really don't want to.

Truthfully it comes down to you've got to network. Check your server's board here on these forums at least most of them seem to be posting lists of weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, architects, and droid engi's on that server. Also watch the people you see in cities, it's kinda easy with carbines to tell if someone is still using a CDEF or if they are using some other type ofcarbine, ask someone you see with a different type of carbine where they got it. Most people will let you know thename of the weaponsmithwho made it for them since it helps drum up business for that weaponsmith that helped them out. Or if you're getting training from someone else in carbine, instead of purchasing the training from a vendor, ask them who they are going through to get their weapons.

Even though they may be bugged currently buy a gun anyways it may be killing us almost as fast as it kills them but it does help. I could be pulling it out of my rear but I seem to remember something about XP being based partly off ofthe weapon you are using.

Ok so I am in tier 3 of the Alliance missions and I have been sent to endor to find hut data... when I get to the waypoints I eather find tier 4 droids which I avoid... or a bunch of tier 3 hutt fighters... well... I am geting worked by these fighters they are just plain faster than I am and plus they hit much harder... what am I suposed to do?

these fighters don't show up as objectives so I guess I don't need to kill them... but I don't see any freighters in the system.

Is there a trick to this mission? Thanks for your help in advance...

Reload your droid with Engine Overload 3, Cap Overload 3 and Reactor Overload 2, with Cap->Shield Shunt 3. If this is too much for the droid, bring Cap Overload to 2. These are Imperial and Neutral commands, and MUCH more useful than Rebel commands for almost all circumstances.

Then buy a crafted Mark IV engine with a speed of at least 90 and a YPR of around 63.

You'll see a HUGE difference in your flying. Oh, and when you get xxx3, upgrade to a V4 flight comp with Engine Overload 3, Weapon Overload 3, Reactor Overload 3, Weapons Cap Overload 4, Cap->Shield Shunt 3.
