Thread: Suppression Fire and Scatter Shot

Has anyone tried alternating between Suppression Fire and Scatter Shot (or any other area damage shot)? I am trying to practice my technique for taking on high level creatures, and not getting hit. It was working well, but if you lose line of sight for one of the suppressions you are hosed. I wish suppression fire had at least 2 more seconds.

I sometime couple my AoE attacks with my two AoE Ranger traps - I land stun, dizzy, and blind with the traps and deal damage with the gun - risky battle type but can prove to be very efficient and menacing.

i dont htink scatters an Aoe though...damn good gainst misarmored people in PvP though.
if i need to do aoe spam its alternating between full auto area an suppression...snare...damage...snare...damage repeat an Kd targets at leasuire run back etc

As already stated, your technique will be much improved if you use Full Auto Area as your Cone Special as Scatter Shot is a Single Target Attack ![]()
I proposed to the Devs when the changes first came on TC a few weeks back to lenthen Suppression Fire's timer so Full Auto Area could be used.....it is close now but it really works best with two people.

maybe liek a 10 second effect?
FAA is defenitly good to altrernate or spray shot (BH) if you have it as a 3rd
