I think i rember seeing these back at the beggining of the CU. do they actually exist? Wouldn't it be beter to Elemental damage pup a nyms than to (normal) damage pup it?

they do exist....and if they're of any use depends on the pup and of course weapons stats...

if you'll use a weapon to spam ranged/placed you can easily calculate it with ("min dam"*0.7)+(("min dam"*1.2)*0.7)+elemental*2.

I'd say they are of more use on a crappy nyms than a good one

My answer onthis threadis this.

Damage actually increased with the PuP, in the duels i made the weapon performed quite fine. Of course, since i have very little healing abilities, i either win quickly or loose quickly, duels never last very long with me.

In a prolonged fight (not duels but special force battle) the high SAC is determined to be a challenge to overcome, as soon as something like that comes up again (the last 4 weeks now have been terribly peaceful... the empire suddenly is not really challenged any more) i will report my impression.
