Was not sure whether to post this on the Carbineer or BH forum ... so have done both !
I cannot make up my mind how to slice my proton carbine, and am hoping you guys can advise me ... I should point out I'll be using it for jedi/PvP.
I think the stats are standard ... 2.25 base speed, 428-855 damage, 324 base dps, 85 SAC.
How about all speed slices and then use a SAC power-up ?
All thoughts and advice appreciated.
Thanks

Do what most people I know have done: get 2 proton carbs and slice one for dmg, one for speed.

Most popular bh slice on these that I've seen is the 8% damage, 2% speed, 3% critical.

I don't think I've been asked to full speed slice one of those yet, it's all been the 8% damage 2% speed 3% critical slice.

8% dmg to get the base up as high as possible to have best results against mdef. rest of the slice comes form slice mechanics (not a smuggler myself but thats what i have been told).

The only slice that will give benefit to the elemental damage is the speed slice. That's why I took the full 12% speed and then used a sac pup, which works pretty well.
