Question that may have been answered somewhere but does wound percent bear any weight,, I know most new quest weapons have wound perents around 2%. Does this stat even matter as I never see any references to it. Just wondering. As far as slug throwers I have lik e 9 pre CU with 24% wound are these any better than the new ones that drop ? sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks for any reply's

TBH I dont think that wounds make much of a difference in a fight - maybe Im wrong though.

Well, if you have a wound percentage of 25%, then for every 4 shots you take (on average, of course), you'd deal one wound. That means one point of health that cannot be recovered. Big deal, one single point out of 3000. To add 50 wound damage (enough that it might make a difference, maybe) you'd have to fire 200 shots. This is just way too long for a fight. Basically, then, wound is pointless, unless your fights last for thousands of shots.

Basically, even if it was 100%, it'd still be mostly worthless except in the stupidest of duels like the melee vs melee ones that last until someone's connection dies (even then it'll take awhile to finish them off).
