Stats are.

Damage 474-948

SAC 100

Attack Speed 2.55

Modified Speed 1.58

E.B. DPS 278.82

M. DPS 448.84

Its the Best carbine I have, or can find actually, I am thinking of having it sliced to lower that sac, the powerups I use for it at SAC 79, but I seem to drain action pretty fast using specials. I thin kthe cap is 65?

I want to ADK this for now, but I would like 2nd opioion on how to slice it.

It will take a full damage slice. That's what I did to mine. 8% damage slice, and damage pupped it. Damage came out at 688-1198.

full speed is usually the best dps wise, but since the sac is fairly high in your case I would have gone for the 8/2/3 slice instead, that is: 8% dmg, 2% speed and 3% criticle hit

I havent sliced it yet, I just grinded a new toon, since jedi is boring me, and I am not at all used to non jedi toons POST cu, so I am used to the old system. Random speed or damage slice system.

You'll definately want to slice it like this, then throw a really nice SAC pup on it. Getting a nice sac pup with more than -30% will put you under 70.

I'd have to check, and I can't right now since I'm at work, but you might want to also look into the Spec Ops Bola carbine from the Song of the Syren quest. Similar damage, but I remember it being faster. I could be wrong about that.

I put a full crit slice on my damaged capped elite carbine. Then again I am MBH with access to adv crit as a special.

I have not regretted it.

Honestly, speed slices are the most effective at dealing damage over time. I'm a MS/MCarb and I sliced my spec ops bola for speed...you actually do more dame over a period of time with the speed slice than you do with the dmg slice.

That said, the high SAC on this weapon means your going to be chewing through your action bar with a speed slice. As a previous poster mentioned, a good SAC pup might not be a bad idea, but if you are planning on using one, go with the speed slice. If not, go with the damage slice.

The crit slice is one I ONLY recommend if the weapon cannot accept/would not be effective with the other two slices...basically, it gives you a chance of dong double damage, but mathematically just can't increase the actual dps as much as a damage slice can, much less a speed slice.
