Thread: Which do you prefer/use?
but then while looking for Non-BH Kinetic Carbs I found the Blackscale Hallsweeper, better damage, slightly higher SAC (90), etc .. regular loot quality Hallsweeper, but which do you guys prefer or use?

Any SAC over 73 is way too high for my taste.....hence even though an uber Nym's is better on Damage than my uber Czerka, the SAC is the overriding factor IMO.

I would say, it's a matter of personal taste and what you do in combat. My E5 has an unmodded SAC of 80 and i don't always immediately replace the PuP when the old one expires. Depending on where i fight and who i have in group, i quite often find myself doing perfectly well without the SAC PuP, only when my goal is to maximize damage output without any other priorities in the fight, SAC becomes an issue.

Indeed... and still i'd love to have lv. 54 versions of low level weapons available. (I miss my snubnose for example...) But that's a different topic, i won't pursue this one more in this thread...
Sylow is Master Squad Leader (PRE Pub 24), as am I, and as Squad leader you are not always "shooting and fighting".
Im not even using an autaattack in PvP nor PvE, since I need to be flexible in dropping in a different buff, type/chat new instructions, call a new target, painttarget/calledshot or communicate with the other groups either blatantly along spatial or ventrilo so with all those inbetween actions some of them dont use action you have more time to regenerate action thus arent so hard pressed to have a SAC capped carbine.
Now I dont know TAfirehawks current template but when Im right he used to be MCarb, Master Creature Handler so he is dealing out the main damage in his group, while his pets used to tank for him. When I also remember right TAfirehawks playstyle is also far more depending on the Carbineers abilities as sylows, thus action is something that will limit TA very fast if he uses a high SAC weapon.
Best thing you can do is , use both
Actually I dropped CH when the Devs attempt at fixing it was....well....less than ideal IMO.....

Hmm, i always have my auto-attack on. If i want and have to type some stuffi don't find the time any more to do some buttonmashing. And if i only repeat legshot all the time, action is no issue at all.
But yes, you are correct, the MBH/MCarb combination is more dedicated to damage dealing than my MSL/MCarb... and optimizing damage output also maximizes action useage.

I don't know about that, 81 SAC on a Nym's, you can conserve Action pretty easily, I don't know why there are so many ppl who think 80-81 SAC is bad.
