What is a good DPS for a carbine?
My mark 2 carbine DPS (for me) is 875 with a speed pup. where would this rank?

DPS is a pointless stat. The fact that u can increase it by 500 by adding a speed powerup should tell you something. If your carbine is ~73 Sac, ~1063 damage, and ~2.1 speed. then its very good. I can pup a very fast pistol to over 1000DPS but it sux in actual use.

Ah, I see...
Thiscarbine is 10 points from the damage max cap, but everything else is capped. I don't really pvp, so i guess it's good enough for npcs.

Dps is only a nice stat at a glance, it can mean lots to Docs or Rangers etc who use high DPS weapons because they dont have much skill/speed for it. But if your a Double Combat Master Eg: MBH/MCARBs then Only consider looking at DPS after sac. If a Carb is sac capped and has over 350 dps (most likely after speed slice then its pretty good) Mine is 4 points from damage cap and has 389 Dps (my modified with Speed pup is 1027).
But your Carbine is very nice.

As to my knowledge, modified speed and modified dps are both broken (thus making it useless), as per to the fact that modified speed is broken.
Correct me if I am wrong.
