after publish 9 i finally could give a new direction to my BH character.
i chose Carbineer (i have a strong feeling that this is a wise decision). after i reached Carbine 2-2-2-3 i felt like the special attack cost increased. i end up with now mind pool in combat? even when i'm full buffed (all HAM), my mind pool drops like a speeder.
what stats affect the special attack cost. i changed my weapon with one that has less encumbrance, i changed my stats and raised my mind pool. i changed my armor and use one that normally has very low encumbrance (actually if u migrate your stats u can wear it unbuffed).
somehow i still have the feeling that my special attacks still cost more and this causes a serious mind problem. i have to use brandy and bluemilk to stop this effect. does anyone know what stats have influence on this? and how i can make it better?
(also want to know what u think of the profession combination i'm working on)
my goal:
Master BH (4-4-4-4)
Master Carbineer (4-4-4-4)
Pistoleer (0-0-3-0)
(with 0 skill points left)

To decrease the HAM costs you need to raise your secondary HAM stats, like quickness and focus.
One BE brandy and one BE Canape should put your HAM costs very close to 0. You should be able to spam specials even in full armor.

Also, if you take a look at the top 5 issues, you'll notice that the special action costs associated with our profession are extreamly high.
