isn't the tough part of carbineer/BH that they're both professions with no defenses ?

I am a Master Carbineer / Master Bounty Hunter and everything in the Geo Caves I can solo. I just can't take on three or more things (unless they are mad genoshians, those I can take on a donzen or more at a time).

As an avid dungoneer, I tend to bring one of every kind of weapon I can find 2 or three sets of composite (Kinetic, Energy and Stun) with me.

thanks for the quick response...a few more questions tho.... currently im BH 0040 and 2244 pistoleer and everything cept for the crazed genosians and the spiders are to hard for me.... the droids do to much damage to me before i can kill them and the enhanced things have to much defences... will this be much easier for me with carbines??

As stated above, the geo caveis quite easy if you play it smart. Take a DXR6 for the acid damage, and try to stay away from all those cone shots. You don't want to draw agro from too many critters in there, or you'll find yourself cloning back at the labor outpost. Though it sounds crazy, keep the geos in melee mode unless you have good stun armor. Keeping them in melee mode will make them deal out kinetic damage, which they are a lot less potent with. Once they get range on you, they pull out their pistols and rifles that do stun damage, and they hit pretty hard (around 2-3k per shot) with those things. That is normally what will hurt me the most.

As with any carbineer PvE session, having a friend along to tank is one of the best ways to go, as you can sit back at range and fire away while taking less damage. I usually go out with 2 or 3 TKs or fencers from my guild. It works quite well on most anything we encounter.

Good luck, and remember... have fun!

I can solo the geo caves quite easily now with my template of master carbineer, BH 3400, medic 2040, and novice brawler. With the ability to intimidate and heal myself with stim Ds I can get to the acklay room solo.

Before the BH skill points drop I had a much more difficult time because I didn't even have the skill points for novice medic.
