I was just wondering what you folks would say would be the best Carbine to build with 5 +49/-.47 spd Krayt Tissue would be. You folks seem to have the know how. I was just wondering. I'm fairly new to this profession and almost to Master. I would like a Carbine that would help me to better survive in PvP situations. In a groupsituation, no solo. Thanks ahead of time for any input.

I would recommend the DXR6 as well. It has an ideal range of 22, the usual range you'll find yourself at. (Let's be serious who PvP's at 50+ meters?) However, if you believe you have the skill to properly use your area attacks to support your group, I would suggest spending it on an Elite.

Whatever you do though, make sure you can max out the ideal range before finishing the Carbine up.

A DXR6 requires 6 tissues.

An Elite requires 5 tissues.

A Laser Carb requires 4 tissues.

1 of these is used for the schematic, so with 7 tissues, you can craft 2 lasers, 9, two Elites, 11, 2 DXR6s, etc.

Your choice is therefore between an Elite and a Laser. I'd recommend getting a Laser Carbine if you don't already have one. It's still widely used in PvP, and even though the Elite does shine against Ranged Mitigation 3, odds are that a good slice (let's hope) will pretty much equal it's damage output.

So 4 of those tissues could go into a Laser, and you can plop that last one into an Enhanced E11 (since it requires only one.)

Try to get your Carbine crafted with an Imperial Form-fitting Stock. It's very important that you do if this is possible. This will greatly improve your DPS (damage per second).

Don't forget the crafted Adv. Scope......experimented for Ideal Range.....

For PvP only the Elite would be my choice, since you can't make a DXR6 with 5 tissues. But as an all around weapon, I would go with the Laser and the last tissue in an Enhanced E11.

Well, it depends a lot on the PvP scene of where you're at.

Honestly, with everything you've mentioned, the answer is a Laser carbine. Laser Carbines loose a lot of their selling points, when up against master Riflemen. However, with Doc-Dabbling being the current FOTM, Melee folks lack Ranged Damage mitigation. as do Jedi.

If you plan on shooting at jawa-toting riflemen, consider a dxr6.

I would suggest to you that a krayt laser would be your best bet in pvp, even at close ranges. A typical imp stocked laser has max dmg of 300-310. But after adding in the tissues, a 35% dmg slice, and a 33% PU...............310 + 49 = 359 x 1.35 x 1.3316 = 645 max dmg

I've been waiting to get a good idea as to what a variety of people seem to think is the best weapon to place these in. Well, I think I'll be searching for some more tissue, so I can make a variety. My guild mates might take an interest to helping me find more.
