Answer to post above: go hunt enraged rancors.....they seem to be eating alot of carbineers these days I looted a few E-11 w/ dot's similar to the one above.

Hey I love the speed, increases the chance of landing that dot in less time. I have a DH17 with a 102 mind poison dot but 16% potency and 4.0 speed so it takes for bloody ever to land a dot. Though, I infact got lucky and landed the dot on the very first shot to a BH that attacked us after rezzing a Jedi then dizzied and chargeshot him and left him to the Piket and Vouriters that agroed onto him (this was on Dath).

I got one like that the other day but it was unlimited charges of a health poison

DOH, Dant I meant.
Anyhow, I seem to have been finding dot weapons on the Corellian Corvette so your chances may be good if you go to the 'vette often but be sure to wear energy composite first (I have 80% energy/73% kin/69% base). A couple of us picked up dot pistols and carbines recently, my SR Combat pistol has a 67 mind fire dot but has a potency of 2%.
