From what I understand the quality of the carbines given when you repeat the last quest from Nym varies. I've done it and received a slugthrower with a max dam of 553 and a buddy redid the quest and got one at 580 max damage.

I originally thought that perhaps faction played a role. when I did it the second time my Nym's faction was -93 and my friend's faction was over 3800 when he did. thats a huge difference in faction standing but not much in the reward.

I thought I'd ask and see if anyone here has noticed a trend or discovered the truth behind this. Also, I'm curious to know how good a slugthrower some of you guys and gals may have gotten.
