Hi,

I saw past posts dicussing the subject.

Does anyone have any ideas or can direct me to a post?

I am just intrested how weapon speed and charater speed mod are related to hit frequency as seen in the combat log.

I assume base specials like Melee Hit and Ranged Shot do not have cooldowns, just delays based on weapon/charater speed,
but more advanced specials have a (fixed?) cooldown timer.

From a few quick experiments it looks like it is approximatly the modded weapons speed in the examine window * 2 for the delay between hits.
( this from other posts and the average from a few hits from testing myself)

Thanks, been looking though the search engine but have not seen anything; but it seems exactly what I am looking for!

Now to read the thing and test it this evening.

Seems that post if for the old combat system as i have a speed of 140 in game atm and using those formula I would he hitting once per sec but I am (depending on weapon) hitting ever 3 odd seconds.

Yes I saw the equation and chart about calculating the Modified Speed of a weapon in the examine window, but how is that related to the actual speed you hit MOBs when you fight
