Which is the only reason my commando character picked up MBH to complement commando.

As for the underslung carbine itself, I read somewhere that it may actually end up as a smuggler weapon.

I don't think that's appropriate, really, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised. And though it looks like a minigun, and friend of mine showed me a size comparison chart of Star Wars EU weapons out of a book, and the underslung carbine is roughly the size of an E-11.

If that's going to be the case, it should be certed to carbineers more than smugglers. If us commandos are going to have any form of underslung carbine, it damn well better be huge, like a true minigun. Otherwise, I think most of us would prefer an assault weapon like the proton carbine.

And as for the Proton Rifle, last time I checked, yes, it is *still* broken.

Nerfed my normal flamer, nerfed my krayt flamer, nerfed their respective DoTs, nerfed my precious Launcher Pistol all to hell, nerfed my rocket launcher and heavy particle beam cannons to total uselessness, but it's okay because they gave us a new gun...that doesn't work and is a rare loot drop off an uber bad guy. Thanks a lot, SOE!
