I've been a carbineer since I started then dropped it for tka a long time ago and now I have it all back except the master box. I've been using crippling shot to snare most of the lairs I attack. I'm curious to know if it is as successfull in pvp and pvj (vs jedi).

Thanks

Ive have found that it isnt all that much use against jedi, I changed my template to include stopping shot from pistoleer which works a treat

Not good vs Jedi? It's on of the best skills in the game, maybe you mix knee-cap-shot from Rifleman? which isn't so good as crippling shot?

Im also mcm mc and electrolyte with cripple will kite anything...even a kryte :0)

You judged it to soon, im sure you will grow to like it a lot. Damage is also prety decent considering how strong the effect is.

Do not bother alternating with Rifleman's Improved Knee-Cap Shot. It is absolutely worthless as a Snare.

Improved crippling shot is great. You might want to try that and the best version of suppression fire you can use.

Crippling shot is awesome for duels vs melee and pistoleers, and can serve to knock a melee opponent out of the fight in group PvP. If you happen to have MCM as well, you can stack crippling shot with electrolyte drain, which slows your target to a snail's pace. Really frustrates them, but they'll never catch you.

Edit: Perhaps the best thing about crippling shot is that it has almost no cool down, unlike the huge cool down timer for stopping shot.

Isn't Suppresion Fire only an AoE-Snare attack?

Or does it do something else?

It should be an area snare effect but it still isn't working properly.
