Thread: FullAutoSingle2 as good as it gets?

If I couldI wanted to get the opinion of some Carbineers out there as to what is really better then FullAutoSingle2? I am a MCM+ a little doc(0-2-0-2)+ Carbineer(0-0-0-0). I played with ChargeShot1 and drop'd it a few hours after getting it. Just couldnt see a way to use it that made it better then ActioinShot1. The primary reason I use carbs is the range modifers. At a 20m range i have a 0 to hit with my dh17 and at a 50m I have a 0 to hit with my laser carb. When counting on warning shot to get rid of a mob I want the best odds of hitting and carb gave me that over pistol and rifle. I do good damage with FullAutoSingle2 even if the HAM cost is a little high but I can always heal myself. I have read a number of things on these boards about BurstShot1 and ScatterShot1 but are they really any better then FullAutoSingle2? I would like to know before I work on the xp to get them just to drop them because they are borke or just dont do anything above a novice skill? Thanx for any responses.

Burstshot1 is well worth is... more damage than fa1 and less ham cost

Burst shot is better than FAS2, slightly more damage, much less HAM cost. FAS2 is useful because of the stat changes. It would be better than burst if the dizzy mod wasn't bugged, but as it is, I'd go with burst shot unless you really want to be able to stun/blind the target.

I have to agree - burstshot1 is probably the best special in the carbineer tree. Does more damage than fa2 with less ham - you'd be surprised how many more burst1s you can spam on full HAM compared to how many fa2s you can spam, and if you ask me the state effects are too random and rare to make that big of a difference.
