Thread: Request for TC Player

The patch note says this:


Changed all delay moves to be on a 30 second timer


I am afraid of what that means. I have looked around and no one seems to be posting about this. Can someone, anyone, on TC verify that you can "spam" specials? Or did they just add a 30 sec delay on all specials?

Just got off the test center,


You can still spam specials. Only "KC/PD/Delay" moves are on the timer, however, charge shot is still the same. Also, HAM costs appear to be much lower on KDs. On a 28/26/22 DH17,charge shotwas a total of -56 HAM. Also, it seems that Charge Shot 1 is stronger as well. I was pulling off 400 damage shots with a 46 - 136 DH17.

Is knockdown now working for 5 seconds?


So to clarify, those notes are too brief, knockdowns are still 30 seconds? They seemed to imply knockdowns were being reduced to 5 seconds. Did they just recycle the commments from last patch when they knockdown time was reduced from 10 to 5?

I believe that refers to the time you are down. Currently, if you just press the forward button when you are knocked down, you get right back up. Now the KD has a 5 second downtime at least when we can actually hit you once while you're down...LOL Carbineers and slower meleers were having a horrible time, as the KD did little damage, and they couldn't get another special to fire before the enemy got back up.


That's great to hear. Dizzy still broken?

I would hope the the target stays down for 5 seconds before getting up becausewhen they are down, you get the 50% bonus to damage when they are knocked down. I like to use this even in PvE since for even that brief second they are down, everyone that hits get a damage bonus. These changes greatly effect the carbineer and the BH carbine-line for the better...I hope.


They are also fixing dizzy or atleast not nerfing it. I guess the Devs never realized Dizzy was supposed to make you fall down and if you are down stay down and so they were going to fix that "bug". You can read more on the BH forum. It's hard to figure out what exactly is going on. This new correspondant forum may backfire because the correspondants are under limits of what they can say. So, they are trying to say what they can and not what they can't and so what they do say is very cryptic. In the end, this may result in substantial misinformation...the BH correspondant is already in damage control mode over this.

I initially thought that the 5 second timer was so that the target couldn't attack or do anything but run around after it gets KDed. I remember back when you could spam KD, not only did it knock you down, but, if spammed, it would make this HUGE delay on your queue where you couldn't do anything if they spammed, say, 10 underhand shots or so. I used chargeshot1 on a gorg glutton this morning and it got up, I think, within 5 seconds. But that's a low level creature, I'll have to use it on a higher level creature/NPC because they'll get up immediately, I'm sure.


Also, we're not allowed to post anything stated by the devs without permission from them to do so. I assume that the BH Correspondent was granted permission first before posting. It's pretty rough, because Correspondents can receive some pretty good or bad news on the forum and we won't be able to share it, just hold it in.

sounds like some good news, SOJ, too bad you can't spill the beans...or maybe its bad..?


and did icorrectly infer that a 5-second timer for kd is either not working, or seems to be a max time that the effect lasts?
