Thread: Does counterattack work properly?
I have 165 counterattack from master carbineer and Swordsman defense.
With center of being on I counter or am missed by bullets or attacks 95% of the time unless its against someone with great accuracy like a master rifleman or master TK, in which case I still counter 75%
There is no "Counterattack" it is simply a dodge that is renamed.

I read the post yesterday about counterattack being followed by an uninterruptable/can't missattack. I happened to fight some tortons later that night and, though they were counterattacking pretty often, their next attack did not seem to hit more often than a normal attack.
Just thought I'd share that. I didn't take the time to test this with my own characters counterattack btw.
a counterattack *supposedly* makes a normal attack right afterwards unblockable (not sure about specials). not sure if it works tho, as i'm usually spamming specials and i do not believe it applies to them.
Given the rate at which I counterattack (i have +200 to counterattack mods) i could test this out tonight if need be.
This skill does not work properly, which is irritating.
It is supposed to:
1: keep you from being hit
2: give you a FREE UN-BLOCKABLE attack against your enemy
This means that not only are you supposed to not take damage, but you are supposed to be dealing damage in return hence the name "counterattack"
THIS is the reason why we get little to no ranged and melee defenses, we are SUPPOSED to get hit and then hopefully counterattack. This theoretically would make us very good, too bad it doesnt work.
