Hmm, I'm a 0/3/1/3 carbineer and it dont get the message that I cant use the gun when I equip it. It does say under the examine menu that I'm not certified though...

I used the new E-11 Advanced as a 0,0,3,2 Carbineer and had no messages and used it just fine.

I think that Carbine from the imp theme park is only for imps, just like the new republic is only for rebs.

nope, i'm a rebel master carbineer and have never had any messages pop up saying im not cert.

nope, the republic can be used by imps fine, my friend uses one with no messages.

the new weaps are bugged i think. I bought a few of each and they all say that im not certified to use, however i can equip and use them with no problems.

yeah, just like the republic blaster and nym's slugthrower, it says "certified: no" in the examine window but when you equip it you dont have any problems.
