Hello all... I am currently a trando tkm... you probably don't know me personally... but I am sure you have seen HUNDREDS of other chars that are my exact clone... at least when it comes to combat.

I am in the process of dropping teras kasi and converting my current tkm/master armorsmith character into a combat medic/carbineer character. I have been looking over the boards quite a bit lately, especially novamarine's posts about the status of the profession, etc. and regardless of whether or not my PvP will suffer, that doesn't really matter to me... I guess I am just a little tired of everyone having the same moves I do in combat and everyone and their uncle meditating around me (as an aside I have always believed that kd2, and possibly powerboost should also have been awarded at master, not just to the dabblers... but that is another issue)

I really hope that the current fixes and more importantly the upcoming ones in the next publish will put Carbineer back into the "crowd control" business because I really think that an intermediate ranged crowd control profession could really complement combat medic well... and more importantly I have always wanted to do carbineer since my days in the beta... thankfully I have finally made enough creds that I think I can quit being a crafter and finally put my 300k combat xp to good use

Currently as far as weapons go I have that slug-thrower carbine from Nym's which seems really good to start with...but anyrecommendations on weapons i should look to acquire would be greatly appreciated... I have some decent looted weapon components and of course the form-fitted stocks from the imp theme park, so perhaps i should find a good WS and have something custom made...

I am very excited about carbineer and i plan to stay with it long after my CM appetites have been gorged...
