The title pretty much says it all.

With the CU coming out in the somewhat near future, us Carbineers can hopefully expect to see some new carbines (or at least upgrades on the already existing ones). Just as a benchmark, I'm interested in seeing what fellow carbineers have to say on our current arsenal. Please vote for your ONE favorite carbine below (be it based on PvP, PvE, damage type, stats, or just plain looks).

I don't know if we need any new weapons.. ours just need to be more effective.. BUT

I think a hand-crafted stocked, scoped and barreled Laser Carbine looks really cool, the Elite coming in second (with the same visible mods.)

Elite Carbine, but somehow it sucks in both PvE and PvP.

Come on now, I know you all want the ones we have fixed but new carbine models would be nice, there is no reason they cant add some new eye candy to the game if they have time to add holoemotes, ithorian armor, and all of the new jedi content at the village. We should not settle for merely having our weapons fixed when the devs appear to have time to implement silly stuff like the painting of the rodian in the dance club. I very much liked the bola bothan and proton carbines and hope they make it into the game before the next chef revamp.

I've never actually seen the new models for the Proton or Bola Bothan. Can somebody post a link or a URL to the images?

I could not agree with you more. I absoutly love the looks of a hand made Laser Carbine with the stock and barrel and scope. It makes it look more like what we see in the movies from greats like boba fett. His EE3 looks pretty sweet from ESB. I actually don't mind that the factory crafting of weapons doens't show the special attachments to the weapons. So when you do kick arse with a specialized weapon, you know you got a seriously awesome weapon.

I actually have a scoped/stocked DXR6 Carbine (looks likeaDisruptor Rifle) and a scoped/stocked EE3 that looks EXACTLY like Boba Fett's weapon. I'd post pictures, but I'm unsure how to

If you're on Chilastra, ask a guy named Namav or Boss' and they'll fix one up for you (at a price)

I currently have an order being processed for a stocked/scoped/barreled Laser.

Actually yeah, a stocked/scoped DXR6 looks like a Tenloss and someone once asked me why my DXR6-B had a different shot trail than his.

I just replied that mine was "Custom Made" and that I didn't like the spinny geo effect.

DXR-6 Carbine, without a doubt. It just looks and sounds sooo good. Not to mention it is by far the most functional weapon we have for PvP.
