but the FAQ has a very detailed write-up on speed, as well it also has a well designed spreadsheet that will help you out a lot, if you are serious about understand speed it is a great tool.
And also contrary to popular belief no proffessions have a set amount the need to reach to get to the speed cap. When most people say a proffession has a speed cap, they look at the average speed of the slowest crafted weapon (would be about 4.0 for a laser carbine in our case) and then look to see how much they need to cap that weapon. Which truly isn't the speed cap

I'm at +145 carb speed, and I haven't noticed a dif since I was +95
That's because anything over 100 doesn't make a blind bit of difference. You simply cannot shoot specials quicker than once per second. If I recall correctly (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), +97 is the effective cap for carbineer but +95 will allow you to cap depending upon the speed of the carbine you're using.

+90 speed is enough to cap a 4.0 speed weapon, since almost no carbine is slower than this speed above 90 is useless.
Now just reed the faq, it's way more accurate and effective tolearn how speed works than knowing a number for every profession... ![]()
