I was alone in Bestine overt in my stormtrooper armor (with PSG) and found three overt rebels, a swordsman, a rifleman, and a combat medic charging through town at me. Being a Master Bounty Hunter also,I had been accustomed to primarily using the powerful single target MBH specials, but this time I saw three classes attacking me that I knew to have poor KD defenses. Surprisingly as they ran right at me they were all running side by side, so I did something I normally dont do. I hit ctrl-F2 and switched my toolbar to my PvE toolbar and did a fullautoarea2 chargeshot2 combo, and much to my surprise all three started flopping. Being in new territory here (having three people flopping, not just one) I just kept spamming fullauto2 not realizing I should be using burstshot2 (never used it before) and nearly had two of them dead before the combat medic got things under control. Eventually after 10 minutes of hit and run I finally succombed to the mind poison head shot combo from the group, but I must say that encounter sure opened my eyes to carbineer specials I had never used before in PvP. Now I am trying to find a spot in my PvP toolbar for fullauto2, chargeshot2, and burstshot2.

Anyway, I thought I would post my little encounter for any MBH's that might be passing through. I have been a master carbineer since the bounty hunter skill point change, but I am still uncovering the diversity and battle content within this class.

That's is what I love about being a MBH/MC. When it comes to PvP it has to be almost one of the most versatile template to deal damage out. I can land KD, dizzy, land plenty o' states, deal out a fair amount of damage, bleed, and I have high enoughaccuracy to hit defense stackers.Even in group PvE, I can easily find a niche.

BTW, Ran into Californium yesterday in Bestine, good guy, had a nice couple of duels. He has some MEAN poison though.

I dont take my Bounty Hunting personally, why do you?

FullAutoArea2 is by far my favorite special for the exact same reasons.

Area states and decent area damage, when hitting 2-3 people at once by far outweighs any other profession's single-damage capabilities as far as Ranged PvP goes.
