Carbineer, I love thee.
People rip on us like we are worse of a class than a BE in PvP. Looks can be deceiving. I normally wear my Mercenary title for RP purposes, but for kicks I throw on the Master Carbineer title - because hey, it's rare on my server and I am proud of my profession.
Well, wearing that title apparently means you are prime dueling material. I can guarantee everytime I go into the Theed cantina I read "OMG a Master Carbineer lol! Duel me!"
So, I /nod and accept the duel.
Funny how their laughter turns to surprise really quick when I incap them and end the duel. Usually that will spark more dueling because no one could fathom how *anyone* could lose to a Carbineer.
Once those duels are done (haven't lost one yet in a month), I go on my merry way only to have the cycle repeat itself.
Now, everyone has their own take on Carbineers - fine, good, great, and wonderful.
Mine is such: I love Carbineer and wouldn't convert it to anything else. I hope the Combat Revamp only helps enhance and balance us further and introduces a new level of fun both to us and the game itself.

I love it because its not the fotm prof, and with the right gear can rip people apart. Nothing more special to me than a tkm noob saying he can own me then he is on the ground with 400's over his head........ Im not even master carbs anymore but keep the tag cause its to beautiful.

All it takes is tactics 
There really is no skill in SWG other than the appropriate use of skills through tactics, and with that a Carbineer can take down just about anyone.

Currently I am a MBH, but let me just say I love being a Carbineer.
