Many, many, many, many posts in the FAQ and Important Links on Counterattack.....too many to repost here.

I read apost on counterattack a while back, and It does make a little sense.

It stated that "counterattack" is working as intended. The difference between "counterattack" and "dodge" is this. Dodge occurs twice as often than counterattack. (Sucks for counterattack) The difference is that when a pistoleer/fencer dodges, they DO NOT ATTACK THE NEXT COMBAT ROUND (1 second if speedcapped) but when a player counterattacks, he does not skip an attack round.

I'm not sure if this is right, but it does make sense. This actually distinguishes between a dodge and a counterattack. I have no idea what distinguishes a block, for that was not discussed.

counterattack on swordsman works as intended - for carbineer it doesnt

the ratio between counterattack working for swordsman to carb is more like the ratio for shots getting thru saber block - fact

And for the most part the reason is CoB.....almost all Melee Profs run a CoB Macro and often forget about it even

does fencer and pistoleer have the same ratio (approx) with the difference in the number of times they dodge compared to carb and swordy with regards to the CoB macro?

Yes, my 4440 Fencer Dodges many times more often (with CoB) than when I was Master Pistoleer. I didn't test any specific numbers but the difference is obvious just like the difference between Carbineer and Swordsman.

Hi, why doesnt counterattack work? i just pvp'd against a swordsman and he/she was counterattacking my shots while on the floor with all the states applied. the swordy was counterattacking 50% of the time

can we expect this to be rectified (cant spell ) before the combat rebalance?

i have +110 (+5 being aa) counterattack but yet i fail to see it work time after time

it seems a person with less counterattack then me counterattacks more then me ???

this seems the most important issue to me regarding carbineer - i have over come everything regardless of issues and problems with this loveable profession, i can pvp unbuffed, solo elders, smc guardians, spellweavers, 300k+ tuskans, giant kimgs even solo'd a SBD on an occasion - but i cant counterattack in pvp making my swg combat life twice as difficult

people might pvp more as carbineer if this was sorted, we would live twice as long maybe - not needing more powerful, faster weapons or even extra defenses not provided by the carbineer profession.
