Thread: Combat Upgrade Armor Info! (some interesting weapon info too)

From reading this it looks like they gave away a lot of info then they actually came out and said. We WILL NOT have to complain about not having a heavy AP weapon anymore since they're doing away with the armor piercing system completely. Also, looking at the numbers they used for hypothetical protections it appears weapons will get a damage increase as well (5300 base protection in the example).
I'm not sure how the hinderance issue will affect carbineers though. I assume we will get a bonus to one type of armor yet still be able to wear all of the other types should we choose (I'd guess at a bonus for us in battle armor).
Anyway, this looks great and I can't wait till it comes live!

Does look promising indeed!
I wouldn't put our damage issues aside just yet.. but it should definitely balance things out in the right direction.

Yeah, I'm not sure how damage is gonna work. My only thing is it seems that the 'AP' issue is fixed with this system.
