Thread: I see you are a MC.... why are you using a dh17?!?!?
First... just made master carbineer!!
having been a carbiner since day one of release... it was a long... be it slow climb 
I was sitting waiting on a shuttle... when somone asked me "what gun is that"i told him DH17. his reply was... "but you are a master carbineer??!?!? is that not a noob gun?"

DH17s have good HAM, a tight, consistent damage range which is good for carbineers and a good attack speed... They would be perfect if they had some armor piercing....
I feel like im shooting a Nerf Gun with the little foam pellets on Lok since they bounce off all the creatures for little damage... but again, nice HAM and damage range makes it all worth it to some people
Well its sad that the "noob" gun has a higher dps than my "elite" weapon. Same goes for the laser carbine and about every other carbine in the game. Of course ar0 kinda limits it use to missions (ever spam full auto area with a dh-17 snub with 1.7 attack??). And hunting un armored low energy resistance critters. Or mother approved for those bothersome merek battlelords. But at the same token.
When im imitating a sniper in game. Well nothing beats the elite. You can sit at range and spam crippleshot (assuming your buffed) till the cows come home. Try that with a dh-17 and you will do some damage but the elite is more consistent about it.
