Okay, I somewhat understand the mitigation. So, with my knowledge I'm re-evaluating my weapons. Especially the high damage guns like the Laser.

So, with the mitigation rules what stats should we really focus on now?

I'm assuming a smaller range between min and max damage, but shooting for a higher of both. But, can weaponsmiths achieve this? What about speed? I'm just a Novice Carbineer and don't have the best speed modifiers yet. So, if the max damage is taking a hit do to mitigation wouldn't I want a higher speed weapon to get that DPS up?

Let me know what yall's thoughts are on this.

What about slices and Powerups? Speed vs Damage now? Can min damage be sliced?
