what gives with this...

my scatter shot 1 and 2 only do 1 point of damage... no matter who i am hitting or what i am using.

i believe if you watch the numbers above the target it shows the real damage...since it hit multiple pools its reported as 1 in the combat spam?

Hard to tell - i just tried it out on a lair... and it was saying i hit for 1... but nothing above the lair and the pool never went down.

This happened for about 6 shots in a row, then the pool dropped 100 points.... but the spam still said 1 point.

The only reason I am using this is because i read it was one of our best specials...

If your weapon's condition is at 0, you will be doing 1 dmg per shot.

yeah i know that - its not.... and i am using 4 different types of weapons all with the same result.

can someone try this in game and let me know what their combat window reports?

I saw the same last night and was only getting one point of exp for the one shot kills. on SS1 and SS2

yes, it's been doing 1 damage in the combat window for a while now.

The problem is when you get a kill using this, you end up with 1 point of xp and unable to loot your kill.

The damage floaty above the mobs head will show the full and correct damage, just combat spam doesn't show this properly at all. It's busted.

Scatter Shot has been goofed since day 1 in the fact that it says that we're only dealing 1 point of damage. However, except for crippling shot, it's probably the most damaging special we have. It can be a little slow to refire and tough on the HAMs, but it's powerful, to say the least.

I have found that a number of creatures only give me 1 XP point, but I don't believe that's from using scatter shot. I simply think that's due to the fact that I've advanced so far through carbineer that these creatures are no longer a challenge. Perhaps I'll find something that only gives me 1 xp using scatter shot and then kill another one using some other special, leg shot, perhaps.

Just last night, I was out hunting gurks and I used scatter shot 2 all night long. Of couse, the combat spam said I was doing 1 point of damage every time I hit one, but I could see that I was often doing 3000 damage or more per shot and, when I killed one, I often gained over 3,000 carbine experience.

yeah its working.... just not shoing me damages in the window... i dont know what was up with that lair.

but it does some nice damage to the baz nitches i've been hitting. Kills my HAM but what else is new.... charge shot followed by a few of these is doing the job.
