Yip how long and how hard is it to do the carbine tree on the marksman profession

I really wish i could help you, im no carbineer, i just like to stop by all the proffession boards once in a while. Maybe have a little fun

not all that long. find a good group on dath. i did the first two boxes in a day, then the last two took a day each. i'm sure it can be done much faster too.

Depends on your other skills. Or if you have a good tank pet (*hopefully not the exploited kind but stuff can be made at 3-5k ham cl 10 that works just a swell with a crate of pet stims)
With novice pistoleer ( to stack bleads) and good ch skill i got there in about 3 hrs and thats not really pushing it either. however i did have carbine xp stockpiled to take the first 2 boxes right away from my time previously as a carbineer.
Just eat up on your foods and go kill pickets. 3k per kill and go down in a hurry

get in a group on dath...do kamu missions.....get it within a couple hours

Just did it acutally, had some pistol skills before (the bleed) and with that I did it all the 4 boxes in a couple of hours. Not hard at all. Of course without that bleed it would have taken a lot longer I must admit. A trick is to find good creatures. Like Cu Pas, mountain worts and desert eopies on tatooine. None of them are social nor aggro, so you can pick them off with virtually no down time, that's when you level fast.
