Thread: Chargeshot question
Hi guys.
I have a quick question for you. Asa master BHI normally don't keep up with carbineer issues., but many Master BH's are using the meagr 33 skill points we have to play with, and taking all Carbineer skills, mainly because of the effectiveness of "Chargeshot". I have read from posters that the non timed aspect of Charge shot was, according to the Devs "working as intended". Has this been what you have been hearing from the devs?
Also, does this special move require the user to actually be moving towards the target?

Yes, as awkward as the special seems to perform, the devs still hold that it is "working as intended."
Also, you do not need to be moving toward the target to use it. However, you must be upright - kneeling or prone won't do.
If you are not moving when you fire it, you will run about 2-3 steps toward your target (charging the target, per se). However, if you are running some other direction when you fire it (which I recommend), you will continue running in that direction.
they said a long time ago that it was working as intended and in the developer responses thread they say that the KD timer is esstential to pvp balance and that they do not intend to discuss the issue further.
meaning simply that, they're gunna nerf it.
Notice they never say, "Yeah, that's not exactly working right, we're nerfing it in the next publish"
or in riflemen
"Yeah, riflemen have too much ranged defense with no reasonable explaination, we're nerfing it in the next publish"
considering the fact that it will KD even if it says it fails, it doesnt seem its WORKING AS INTENDED
currently chargeshot will NOT fail
you can have 100 million kd defense and still get kd'd by chargeshot
