I been shooting and shooting and shooting, and oh yeah did i mention I only have ONE box in carbineer? Does anyone have any suggestions for xp? Carbines is my holo curse. I couldnt dare part with TKM/MCH on my other character, so my Master Architect is a carbine foo. I hunt daily with an MCH, so having a tank isnt an issue. Anny suggestions or tips would be grand! *wookieehugs all around*

If your a ch like you say just go to rancor vally on darth...you should get at least 4k exp a kill on the small ones...just watch it if you get to far in and your soloing you could be in for a surprise heh. I recomend bringing some good food and spice and get some doc buffs so you can spam specials all day.

Wen you get higher up you wont need the tank if you do it right...Heck half the time i see them fighting each other and just pick em off :0) i got 200k exp in about an hour and a half today Solo no pet and im just a carbineer weaponsmith merchant...

Hehe, my computer cant handle 2 sessions of SWG running at one time, so yes, I am a ch, no i cannot use my ch, while I use my Carbine gal. But lucky for me, my stud is a ch. Will have to try out some dath *cringes and mumbles something about obnoxsious night sisters and their evil rancor drones* Thanks for suggestion

Oops sorry i misread i thought the ch was the holochaser. Well then id go to Rori and hunt those giant turtles...they dont pack and give killer exp...Buffed you can take them no problem with some tactics. Use the landscape hills to your advantage...you dont have the skills i use yet though. Maby get 5 probots and novice scout so you have a tank or some crappy lvl 10 pet (will last a little wile..maby heh) you should be able to take one of em before the probot dies...maby two. Then make a camp and get another. But buffed up and with food you can probably just kite it as long as you can then just take the last few hits...they dont db but hit hard enough they might kill you if your hams get to low anyway. But get charge shot and cripple shot asap and exp flows like rain :0)

Get the first area attack you can and the very fastest carbine you can find, it'll probably be a dh-17 snub-nose. Get a speed slice and use speed powerup's. Go to Dantooine and find something with 4k hams, anymore than that is just overkill, they take too long to die. Forget everything you know about tanking. Send the pet on the lair and leave him there, period. Let him keep attacking it while you fire your area attack on it (the lair that is.) Have your CH buddy keep an eye out in case one pops loose on you or you need a stim. Obviously you only want to do this buffed or so full of spice and food that you can barely stand up because you are going to spam the heck out of your one area attack.

Some critters I would recommend you avoid: Hurrtons (DB) Quenker's (they spit at you)Voritor's (poison and disease is naaasty) Pikets take waaay too long to die for the little boost in xp. That pretty much leaves bol's--bol's are your friends. They don't Db, they don't range attack, they don't hit TOO hard, and they group together on tanks VERY nicely.

As far as damage per time goes--area attacks generate the absolute most damage in the shortest amount of time and for the smallest ham costs. Learn it, Love it, Live it.

Oh wait, you're a rebel. Ummm........ Forget all that, chuba's. Yep chuba's and nuna's stick to them and you can't go wrong.

well you just need to go hunting ona high level planet and do as much damage as you can, dont forget to put a bleed on it, you get xp for that

LoL If you want to master any combat prof in 3days at most, go buy a full set of Comp armor make sure it's high kinetic and energy resist, get a full set of doctor buffs, and a master musician buff and use area attacks and chargeshot 1in fort tusken. Trust me it's an easy grind, and fun!

I'm at 1/4/4/3 Carbineer and have been getting all my XP by killing Nym missions on Lok. Get buffed, wear armor, suplement with Muon Gold and decent Laser Carbines and voila! you have a great recipe for XP.
