Well, first off, i'd like to say that I wish there was a Machine-Gunner like class in SWG.

When I pull out my Carbine, I expect to miss a nice amount, because it's like an assault rifle, but I should be pumping shot after shot at my target. All I ask is (with the upcoming speed and weapon changes) I would like to see a medium or so damage carbine, that has one of the fastest ranged attack speeds in the game, but is made to spray anything in a 5-10m radius. It doesn't actually have to do area attacks, but the accuracy should be low. It shouldn't be TOTALLY inaccurate though. I should be able to go prone about 40-50m away at least, and lay down some nice cover fire for my TKA friends.

I don't know if Suppression Fire 1/2 only cause a PC if they hit, but in my opinion they shouldn't have to hit. You don't get low real fast just because you've been shot, but because you don't want to get shot. Perhaps Suppression Fire 1 should require you to hit the target and Suppression Fire 2 shouldn't, just to give it a little more use.

I guess an idea is to give us a +5-10 or so acc weapon at 40-50m, that does about 150-250 damage (might be low or too much, i don't exactly have an uber carbine) and an attack speed of like 2.0-2.5 (any lower and a speed slicewould be overpowering). And then I would use specials that don't necessarily make me blow people away, but I do a lot of KD/PC and status effects like stun/dizzy. You'd have to make sure that if the target was closer to you than 40-50m you're accuracy would drop, especially at point blank. I think this would give the gun a machine-gun feel.

I feel this type of weapon draws away from the Medium support guy in a way, being that I ask for 40-50m accuracy, but as I stated earlier, I'd like something that resembles a Machine-Gun as a chooseable weapon. Perhaps you can find a way to make a specific tier in Carbineer for this type of fighting, or even make it another profession
