Now that i hear about Damage Migitation i hear that laser carbines are weak? this dissapoints me very much. Am i going to have to get a nice DXR6 carbine instead. What advice would u have for me about that. Also I am almost master carbineer with bounty hunter carbs 4. This way ill have really good carbine mods. But what advice can you give me to improve my pvp effectiveness... what specials are bugged, weak, or just plain good.

And though carbines have highest HAM costs what benefits to they get. Fast firing power with high damage would be nice to hear. But I want to know carbineer "inside and out" so when the moment counts i can take out my enemies in pvp.

Well, damage mitigation takes its biggest toll on weapons that have large damage ranges. As the laser carbine has an exceptionally large damage range, damage mitigation takes a lot of the bite out of a laser. I'd recommend going with either a DH17 or an Elite (DH17's are faster), but if you're headed up the BH carbine line, I'd recommend the Elite as you'll have more than enough speed mods to make up for it.

Carbines do have a very high HAM cost, but they do quite a bit of damage and fier faster than rifles. They're basically the "middle ground" of the ranged weapons. Pistols fire very fast and do little damage. Rifles fire very slowly and do lots of damage. Carbines are right in the middle. Same goes for range. Pistols are best used close to your target, rifles far away, carbines in the middle.

Which specials are the best to use? Well, I'd have to recommend Charge Shot 1, Crippling Shot, Scatter Shot 2, and Action Shot 1 & 2(you might also want to mix in the Full Auto Attacks and Leg Shot 2).

Charge Shot 1 offers a knockdown. The knockdown doesn't last long, but you can use it over and over to keep enemies at bay.

Crippling Shot and Scatter Shot 2 offer big damage (crippling shot tends to have higher highs but also lower lows than scatter shot 2). Crippling Shot will hit one pool with a single blast while Scatter Shot 2 will hit 3 random pools (potentially, it could hit the same pool 3 times - it's random).

Action Shot 1 and 2 offer bleeds to the action pool but, more importantly, they include a posture down effect.

Hope that helps.

Yes i knew all about the damage of crippling shot! major ass whooping in pvp for me. But thanx for weapons info wasnt sue to keep my 352 laser carb over my 256 dxr6 now. dxr6 has higher minumum so i figured migitation would effect it less. Ty for the info.
