Where can they be looted though? im too poor to buy off the forum.

Well, I looted a 183/212/51% mind psn laser carbine off of an enraged rancor. After months of hunting Rancors (enraged) I noticed that out of maybe 60 I will loot something. So far i've picked up the laser carbine, a lot of thermal detonators, a full suit of pretty crappy mabari, a few bone armor peices and a health fire striker pistol.

I know i've lost my mind! I don't know where? I don't know when?
But I know that I have, because look were I am!!! - Anonymous

Stormtroopers will drop a lot of crap carbines, but a gem pops up every so often. I looted an EE3 from a Dark Jedi Master a while back, but it was pretty crap with no mods (yellow tag aside).

What is there to tactics with DoT Carbines.....shoot until DoT sticks, switch to damage gun, blast away until DoT ticks off, rinse/repeat

well we covered the whole think about stacking dots, and in pvpits anextra bonuse if carbs have health dots as its our own ham stat worth attacking

Well there's not that many tactics.

Mainly, the use of types of DoTs depends on their template. No use on using a Health poison against a doctor.. not only can they cure it, they can also stim themselves.. unless your DoT is strong and you can KD/dizzy them or warcry them.. forcing the DoT to stick.

Stacking is easy.. simply put all the Carbines in a toolbar, click one, use FullAutoArea2 or the BH specials.. Confusion/SprayShot. Inflicting a DoT is great.. inflicting states as well is just uber Switch to the next.. rinse and repeat.

Mind DoTs are pretty much always guaranteed to take out an opponent.. they have to be a doc to heal em.. and CM mind-healers are too few and too rare in PvP I find..

Action DoTs can of course be coupled with LegShot and ActionShot1 and ActionShot2's bleeds. Once the DoTs have been placed, use CrippleShot for Health (or FullAuto and BurstShot) and ScatterShot2 for any Mind DoTs.

Finally, beware of Poison resist buffs or low potency DoT Carbines.. if after several shots they don't stick, switch targets.. no point in wasting uses on someone who has resistance to them.

I have found that personally I had better luck with the Sith thugs for decent carbines. I tryed the guys on lok and got a few 120-175 strength health and action poison vk's, but no carbines.
