thoughts on this? how big a difference, which 1 is better etc.

cripple. lasts longer and seems to stick easier(least to me)

I've heard Crippling Shot is more effective as well, but as I've not seen any solid numbers/proof, I'm not sure.

Knee cap is almost useless. It lets you run off only if you unequip your rifle. Cripple shot is much much better since it slows the critter down very well and allows you to kite.

For Kitting, Crippple/ChargeShot is the best!


Cripple


Kite


If you need to pass close to your target or if Cripple is about to wear off


Charge Shot


Leg Shot


Cripple


Repeat


The timers are just right that you can keep a Mob crippled or down most of the time

since me and my friend grind alot and i'm using my rifleman and hes using his carbineer we've been able to test through fighting that knee-cap is the less effective snare, it doesn't last as long, the npc can move faster and it doesn't stick as easy. So yeah the cripple shot is much better.
