iv heard that this is a pretty good carbine, but never seen any of its stats. Does anybody have a shot of it, or just the stats on it to post?

it's not that great. 110-217 (ish) @ 4.0 spd. decent with a good slice and powerup. but for acid damage a nice dxr6 is still better. went and got it because i didn't think i should call myself a cabineer without it. i equip it when i'm buffing or just standing around because i like the way it looks

thanks for the info guys, i checked into the other threads but only saw people saying it was good, without listing the mods on it.

I LOVE the slugthrower. It might not be the best, but it IS the coolest. You want to get it sliced though.

The exact stats are:

Dmg: 103/227

Spd: 4.0

HAM: 37/62/32

I got two of them, one sliced for 29% damage, and 1 sliced for 15% speed. The one sliced for damage, witha 32% speed power up is pretty much in line with the laser carbines I use (used to be a master weaponsmith). I think I like it a little better though, as the min damage is a good chunk higher, so the "spread" in damage isn't quite as wide.

And it just looks really cool. Kinda reminds me of a german MP40

Unless it changed with the patch today, you can use it at novice marksman as there is no certification requirement for them. I used mine to get through the carbine tree of marksman and it worked great.

There are no certs for it.

The Nym's Slugthrower is like the Republic Blaster; anyone can use it.
