Please calm down. Nothing positive comes from negativity. Clear heads will rule the day.

Issues have been presented to the Developers and, importantly, they have been acknowledged.

I'll post more info as soon as I can.

Hrmmm...skeptical but at least I am glad I read this before dropping Carbiner as I intended today.

The devs are idiots.

I want an apology from them, for failing to deliver the product they had promised 6 months ago.
There is no excuse for them to fix charge shot, and do nothing to fix ANY of the other specials.

Good work Devs you friggin idiots.

I encourage you all to host community events on your respective servers.

Theme: Cermonial Burial of the Carbineer Profession

What: All server carbineers and supporters gather for a duelling tournamentto see who can kill themselves first, followed by the burial of a Nym's Slug-Thrower Carbine. Participants are encouraged to dress in somber colors.

How: All participants are to arrive in composite armor, unbuffed and with the elite carbine. Duels will be held via cycling through all the available specials until your action bar is gone. Winner gets a free crate of tat sunburn and a nice DH17 carbine.

Be sure to post the event in your local community events announcements thread.

So i have been thinking since i logged off of swg earlier extremely upset.....

let me get this straight...cs1 has a 30s timer.....this means after I shoot it once....I know when to shoot it again with the person I am dualing warcry2's me and then I should count to 10 really slow? 30s is rediculous....i can use it on 20 times and the shuttle is here..**edit**....if cs1 was such a exploit..then why wasnt everyone in the game a carbineer?...it was basically useless in pvp and it did no damage...I demand that you put it back the way it was...put a 30s timer on cs2 or something that we carbineers have gotten use to not using b/c nothing works- EpIC

If Devs are concerned about "dabblers" maybe CS1 should have been moved up the skill tree or even to master? To be honest thou' I don't know what anyone was thinking for this to come about. I thought CS was working as intended?

I agree...it is not like we had a super advantage over everyone else in the game.....no wait that is the rifleman/combatmedic combo...try nerfing the professions 50% or more people are in the game...i never see master carbineers on lowca...so if you want to put a timer on something..try cs2 and return cs1 back to the way it was - EpiC

And? Of course it's been acknowledged, they put it in.

Problem is they don't care. They have this fix-all end-all combat revamp coming up that will make pink elephants fall from the sky and everybody shoot fireballs out their arses

A vague promise, promising something they have no track-record whatsoever to back up that they can do in the first place, is obviously enough for them to let the new coder on the block have a go at the current system.

The fact that they kept this a secret until the very last minute is an insult.
