Thread: Carbineer: Testing the sandbox.

The developers will be putting up a "sandbox" server to test the combat rebalance changes soon. Each Correspondant is being given access and allowed to bring 5 experts from their profession (that was my suggestion to the Devs BTW...). Therefore, I will need 5 assistants to help me test. Let me be clear this is for testing. You will be required to come play on the server, I might make you grind the profession to see how easy or hard it is to level, we will tackle high-end mobs, etc. We will be TESTING. Do notapply if you do not want to test! Do not apply if you do not want to start over (though equipment will likely be provided). Do not apply if you will be upset that this character will be deleted when the sandbox is no longer needed. Keep in mind, Publish 10 is coming soon. If you see yourself wanting to spend considerable time grinding to get a Jedi, please do not apply.

Picking the Carbineer Assistants is totally my discretion. I will be picking based on these criteria:

1. Forum visability. Long-time contributors are often a valuable and trusted source of information.

2. Profession. I will be picking masters of different templates so we get different play styles tested.

3. Communication. You must be able to write clearly and communicate your thoughts.

4. Maturity. No k00l dUdEs please. If you have ever said "pwned" in game, you need not apply.

If you believe you fit these qualifications, send me a private message with the following:

1. Carbineer Assistant as the subject

2. What your prefered carbineer-based template is.

3. What time zone you are in and when you typically play.

4. What percentage of time you spend doing PvE and PvP.

I *will* be reading your message history after you apply to verify how will you fit my 4 criteria.

I don't think you need extra credit man, if it were my call, you'd get a spot lol. I hope we both get picked, I would love to hang out with some of the guys from the forums on TC, doing what we do so well.

I dont think saying pwned automatically makes you immature. Its pretty much the same as 'beat' these days. Since almost everyone uses it its almost a habit to say "Man, you pwned me hard". I suppose it goes in context. "Yea, we pwned those rebels/imperials." would be more mature than say "I PWNED YOU LOSER, LOL!1!!!eleven!! ROFL You really suxors wtfpwned"

But never an innocent or a helpless one will he harm
For he is a Protector, fearsome and fearless in battle

Just a slight update...

I have recieved a number of inquiries and most are either Carbineer/Bounty Hunter or Carbineer/Defense stackers. No Carbineer/[Medical Class] or other "support" templates have applied. It will be very important to me to see how Carbineer plays without additional combat professions added to it...

As stated in my PM, I would be more than happy to make a template such as that if noone with it applies. I have been Master Carbineer/Master Combat Medic, and Master Carbineer/Master Squad Leader in the past. I have also mastered doctor, but that was before I picked up a carbine. I like trying new things, so if you need someone to make a less than ideal template, or a support template, give me a shout.
