Using ONLY my DH17 Short and an Enhanced Elite, my composite helm, chest, boots and gloves.
at the moment my character's Carbine skills are 1011
i have to say i was SHOCKED at how easily i destroyed the stormtroopers, even without buffs. i can't spam specials, but afewwell placed FAA1s and Leg Shot1s and i had them flopping around like fish...sort of like shooting fish in a barrel.
i cannot wait until i get some REAL carbine skills.
my area poisons are not real stong yet as i am still working on CM as well, buti DO like tossing an area poison then following up with area attacks from my carbine.
having fun so far

Theme park missions are kinda lightweight, some of the high end Rebel missions where you have 5 stormtroopers gunning/punching you might bea steeper challenge.

yeah i was fairly disapointed in the rebel theme park. i almost want to go through the imperial one, but i don't want to give up my rank in the rebellion.

don't bother with the Imperial...it was 10 times easier than the Rebel Theme Park. it is not as long either

Sorry, not very constructive or on topic, I know... but I just couldn't resist it.
I agree with NeoEcks though, there is something deeply satisfying with pumping out an area posion and then spamming area attacks. Especially when the area attacks are FAA2 and Charge Shot 2
Though, having recently gone darkside (BH carbs) I must confess that I love starting any attack on a single target with F7, F6, F5 (for me that is Confusion Shot, Fire Knockdown, Charge Shot 1). Almost certain Stun, Dizzy and Knockdown. If it doesn't work there is always Action Shot 1 for a posture down.

you do know that if your KD doesn't work you can just keep using it until it does right? the timer is only 30 seconds AFTER you knock the person down

Well you had armor on.
Try without armor.
At best you can only handle 1-2 stormtroopers
unless you have a tank

true, i did have some armor on. not a full suite and buffed to the gills like 90% of the 'uber-template' players. just me, my carbines and some armor.
the most i was able to handle at once was 4 troopers, but again, i am just starting carbineer and combat medic (again)
as i said, can't wait to actually get some real skills in carbine, and advance in combat medic

Not a full suit. Of note there's a bug that's been around for as long as I can remember. Simply put aside from decay rate differences you in fact WERE wearing a full suit.

LOL okay, if it makes you feel better, i kicked the SNOT out of those stormtroopers at 1011 carbineer with no buffs only because i was wearing my armor...but i still did it, and MAN it felt GOOOOOOOOD!!

True that, I use Brandy and Pixie and eat Crackdown Squads for lunch.

In street clothes, using Vercupti, Pixie, Brandy and stim Bs. I've taken down 2 Crackdown Squads before the downer hit with no armor and a .9 Speed E11. This was before I picked up BH Carbine skills.
