Thread: Bh/pistols/smuggler templates...Dont do it

Got a chance to finally get in on the TC2 action, so I tried the BH pistols 4, MPistol, Smuggler Dirty fighting, and novice commando template.
Just gotta say, if you like carbines at all, you'll get sick of this template. In PvE carbs at speed cap will do ALOT more damage. Eyeshot was kind of a treat, as was feign death, but overall I don't think the template is worth it. PvP is a bit skewed because all us noobies didnt have stun composite armor, so the Geo really shines. And I decided to farm the Talus Imp outpost /ATSTs with the launcer pistol. With BH/carbs its just as fast to take one out, so no real advantage for blast either, unless you're also a turret killer. Overall this template is just too skewedtoward PvP, however MRifle will still outdamage you with only 92 skillpoints.

The only advantage to the Desperado Rogue Master Pistoleer template is that you can lag someones computer down with the launcher pistol while doing eyeshot...

Apparently you didn't read his post or you would have seen the part where he said he went to the talus imp outpost and killed some AT-ST's. Master Carb+BH carb with a good laser carbine can take down an AT ST fairly fast.

Apparently, you've never seen this template fight AT-STs. Last Ditch with BH Speed and a TorsoShot for the Flame DOT using a Blast Pistol is utterly devastating to watch. Its got some PvE applications, too.
