Thread: Why EE3 damage radius has not been implimented

I think I have figured it out, the devs actually had the foresight to not add in the damage radius to stop carbineers from becoming a DPS god. Think about this, Burstshot2 with an ee3 on a crowded group of players, that would be a Burstshot2 on each player, in turn hitting each player once per every player caught up in the blast. I'm not sure if this is how the damage radius would behave, but that would be overpowered. Anyone else familiar with how damage radius with area specials work? This is purely guesswork.

Or maybe it would be perfectly balanced the way the devs intended it and they are just lazy?

The radius on the EE3 is incredibly small. The players would pretty much have to be line up in a straight line for them to take a hit. No considering that this was Boba Fett's favorite carbine (who was a MBH/MCarbines...or just MCarbines :smileytongue I'd say the radius was more likely to be an anti Jedi lightsaber function. Sorta like the scatter pistol.

Well for those of us that have been around here a long time, will remember this was tested.....

3m is a very small radius but it was tested by having multiple aggro mobs on top of one another and it didn't work....

And for why it is still broke....well why are there ANY bugs in this game......ask a silly question and get a silly answer

Because SOE Rushed to release a game which at the time EVERYONE said would not be ready for release for another 12 months? Oh wait, that was a rhetorical question.
