What about CM/Pikeman others with DoT weapons? Also you'll get dizzy/kd'd fairly easy and have no way to cure besides pressing /stand over and over

Poison and Disease Resist Buffs....Having at least one doc in the group with good area and single cures....and taking Thatikllo when necessary. The template does have meditate, so if you are able to get away from the CM/Pikeman you can always meditate everything off if there is no doc around, provided there is water around to cure fire.


DoT is a disadvantage to every single template that doesn't have 4030 doc (which is FoTM)

not having melee or ranged mitigation 3 is gonna hurt a fair bit

Don't under-estimate Ranged/Melee Mitigation 2....it reduces the damage range of the enemy's weapon by %40..(versus Mitigation 3 which is %60)...not a huge jump but still enough to cut damage down from many weapons with high spreads.


And I believe there was a dev post that said mitigtation was being removed during the combat balence..


Say you get attacked with a stun baton that is 150-400 Damage


With mitigation 2 the person would be using specials against you with a new damage range on their batonof: 150-300


Compared to Mitigation 3: 150-250


Only a 50 Max Damage difference between both examples...ofcourse when you do specials you are not alwaysattacking at the weapon's max damage...

pretty good template, you'll get hit a lot since of your low ranged and melee defences, but offensive wise your set and decent defences will let you survive wihle you can do some decent damage

yeah mitigation 2 is certainly useful but i find theres a big difference from mitigation 2 to 3..mitigation 3 is the best thing every master box has

As most of you know here, my defense stacker alt is quite a wicked template......check out the STICKY post on Templates near the end.....



And it is more about the equipment than the template.....my armor/buffs/PSG/DoT EE3 make the difference, not the template

The template I tried on TC2 was


Master Carbineer

BH 0400

TKA 4300


No medic but you have master carbineer.

with my carbineer template I only have ranged mitig at 2, and no melee mitigation, but I do more than allright in PvP, easiest against melee fighters, but I'm doing ok against ranged too. I just have to keep thinking and reacting when I fight, that's it.

Wish we could get together to challenge each other.....


I already got to play a bit with Ben'jai on TC and it was close to a draw with him being able to win with TorsoShot's Health bleed.....and he is the first and only person to stick a Dizzy/KD that I didn't immediately get up from.....but adding 0304 TKA will severely limit any further incidents


And now that I have my 250+ Action Disease EE3 I think I can get the upper hand on these uber weapons I come across

All depends on the situation.....if they have full armor then it is either use the DoT or watch armor decay for 10 minutes.....


Personally a DoT is "harmless" whereas decaying my armor costs me millions in SEA's......
