Hi!
I was wondering, do youguys think this would be a good overall template?
------------------------------------------------------
Master Carbineer
BH 0-4-0-0 (not a true carbineer but :smileytongue
TKA 4-3-0-0
------------------------------------------------------
right now my template is
Master Carbineer
BH 0-3-4-0
Commando 0-0-4-0
it's not really a good template i just wanted to have choices once combat revamp came)
ya so....for the most part i just want comments on the first template and if it would be usefull...i think that if meditate is not useful i could alwasy go into a little fencer for state defense etc.

I am going to be getting Meditate as well.....and from talking with plenty of people you will surely find it useful.
But don't PLAN ANYTHING for the Combat Revamp......trust me, read what Nova has said......
Above all else, do what you want and have fun.....it is different for every person

Even in the most optimistic view, the combat revamp won't be released until early 2005. So waiting for it is in my opinion a waste of time. This game has so much to offer and you're not bound to certain professions because of the race you picked, so go ahead and do what you like now.

I tried it on TC. Its really not bad at all. Powerboost is great and Force of Will is just plain cool. Its not a waste of SP really since novice brawler has some very nice specials, but I think I'd rather use the skill points to pick up some pistoleer and have the option to spam eyeshot with a geo sonic if I need to.

IMO any player that takes any BH should focus on OFFENSE to win, whereas a "pure" Carbineer needs to have great DEFENSE to stand up strong in combat.
A Carbineer can get Defense from a number of places.....and I was a Architect/Carbineer for a long time and dropping houses on things doesn't help
So try CH/TKA/Fencer/Pistoleer/Rifleman.....

In general pairing any Melee Prof with Carbineer means a huge reduction in the use of Carbines. I personally didn't touch a 1H weapon after getting 4440 Fencer and likewise with 0044 Pistoleer.....but now with needing FS XP I have picked them up.
I haven't specifically done Swordsman, but my guess is that you will be using it 90% of the time. And because of Counterattack stacking Carbineer might be a good choice but it is hard to not go for the Pistoleer Defenses

i had been a melee stacker for a long time, and then i got an alt and tried carbineer, and loved it, so im going carbineer with my main now. I also love swordsman, and i have mastered it 5 times...lol...cause i just couldnt stop playing it. what about swrodsman/carbineer with lots of counter attack since the defense caps dont seem to work. personally i like counter attack to dodge, and i never even used my stun baton as long as i had fencer...lol...i do realize that there arent lots of def.bonus with this template, but to me HIGHLY offensive when you mix the states from carbineer with the hard hitting swordsman. one downfall is that you would use 2hand hit 3 instead of head hits, but i think that the states from carbineer would by far counter tis fact. Please dont flame. this is the best forum ive ever read, and though i dont have over 100 posts...ive played since launch, so ive been around. thanks
