Thread: Are there less carbineers?
I just noticed that out of the 3 elite ranged weapons professions, the carbineer forum has the least post's. Why is this?
Are there just less of us?
Is our class less broken than the rest?
Or is the nature of the person that takes up carbineer less prone to complain?
Yes, not a lot of Carbineers out there. I had decided to do Commando some time back,a nd the next day they annouced all the changes that make Commandos mega-powerful now. Suddenly everyone wanted to be a Commando. So I decided to pick an elite combat class to go with Ranger that is not common, and Carbineer is it.
I suspect Carbineer will be fixed, and perhaps sooner that you expect. The newest comments are encouraging, if not everything we need. When Carbines are fixed, I will already be a Carbineer.

From a Smithing Point of view, Carbines have really picked up, and Rifles have dropped remarkably in sales recently. So I can attest to there being more Carbineers growing lately. I think our time is coming, just very slowly.
Although I suppose I do get a lot of the Carbine business in the area just due to the fact that I am one, so I tend to see the people that use them and the Disciples that need training. But there still has been a definite increase when I can go throughy 3 Rifles (Lasers and Spraysticks are all that ever sell, T21's not being available) a day and 5 Carbines of different types. This is up from the converse about 3 weeks ago.
Since I have been master carbineer on eclipse ( less than a week) I have had a few tells and requests for training, but not very many. I would say I have seen maybe 10 to 15 of us on the server, most of them being dabblers rather than dedicated carbineers. Also had a few tells of respect for making it as well 
Not sure if there is even another master on eclipse, seen a few mercenaries and marauders, but no masters.
Am I the only one on eclipse ? Anyother masters on the server ?

Who wears his master carabineer tag with pride even though we are broke.
Solth, i am a master carbineer on eclipse and have been for several weeks.I know two more who are masters. I wear my mercenary tag mostly because ithink it look far cooler than master carbineer. I amsure there are plenty of people who choose to wear one of the cooltags in the carbineer tree instead of the master tag.

the reason is that most people just use it to get master marksman on the way to BH or commando.
then switch to pistol or HW.
