Thread: Ok new carbineer here with a thought.
Maybe if we can't get them to fix our ham cost quickly. We can get them to give us autofire for our specials.
Here is what I mean:
Our ham cost for one special is easily double any other ranged weapons ham costs for comparable damage type.
So what they could do to fix us fast is for each special we execute we get two shots. This would fit with the ham costs and kinda fit in the scope of a carbine.
For example if we use a legshot 2 it fires twice but only costs us ham one time.
What do you guys think?
I still say to fix our ham costs would be better but at this point I would take anything at this point. ![]()

best idea I've seen yet, but it would have many specifics that would need to be worked out from the devs stand point
like does this make them too powerful(since we only like 2 unnamed classses)?
or, is this two of the current shots( like 2 back to back fullauto 2 only worth the cost of one) or is it literally 2 shots?
What I'm trying to say is, put this into a very specific change and post it on the discussion board and the carabineer board so its more likely they'll see it. Then all of us carabineers can make it a huge thread, once again so it's more likely to be looked at.
Overall, a very good and intriguing idea
Sounds ok, but I think that the devs see the AOE attacks as the "autofire" that carbines get. Instead of attacking 1 person muliple times, they see it as attacking several people at once. It allows them to sort ofkeep the rifle (slow-high damage), carbine (medium speed-medium damage), pistel (low damage-high speed).
