Thread: Better new speed caps and melee damage penalties for all three classes

It appears that Rifles, Carbines and Pistols are going to get varied by changing their speed caps and melee damage penalties, with possible damage increases for carbines and rifles to compensate for higher speed caps. Good idea, but from what I've seen this unbalances pistoleers too much, especially in PvP.


Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in on what I felt was an appropriate set of numbers for each figure.


Speed Melee


Pistol1.0 1.1


Carbine2.0 1.5


Rifle 3.0 2.0


Heavy Weapons 3.0



I wish they'd stop messing around with pistoleer so much, though. There are other classes in more need of attention when pistoleer is already one of the classes closest to what it probably should be.
